COURSE DESCRIPTION
GRATS are irrevocable trusts that are often effective vehicles for transferring wealth, including a closely held business, between generations of a family without triggering gift tax and with generally low risk. This program will provide you with a guide to the mechanics of GRATS - their asset transfers and payments; drafting their most essential provisions; and planning to avoid successful challenge by the IRS.
